Meet Lizzy
Elizabeth Anne Croke, “Lizzy” to her friends, turned heads when she entered a room with her infectious smile and laugh. She always put her family and friends first, living a full life with her three older brothers, parents, her cat and dog. She made it clear that creating a strong bond with those she loved was most important to her.
Lizzy smiled through the difficult times and laughed at things she could not control. She was always lifting others up, embracing life, and inspiring so many through her vivacious personality. Her presence would light up a room, and when she laughed, your only reaction was to smile. Lizzy was so full of love and compassion that she made people want to be better.
Lizzy had so many loves and talents, from basketball, dancing, and painting, always keeping herself busy. She was a fashionista and a social butterfly and admired by many. Lizzy’s confidence and authenticity were inspiring to those who knew her, all while remaining incredibly humble.
Losing Lizzy was devastating for all those who knew and cared about her, but also a tremendous loss to the world. Only dreams remain, forever etched on our hearts and minds, of the gifts she would have bestowed to the world had she lived a full life.
Our world is forever changed, and we promise that Lizzy’s legacy of joy, compassion and hope will live on through the community of family and friends she held so dear.
Lizzy always stayed true to herself. What does that mean to you and me? It means she always tried to accomplish new things in her life. She worked towards finding her passion in life, while always keeping a caring eye out for others. She never let anything get between those she loved and cared about; those relationships were valuable to her.
When her future career plans changed and life became difficult, she would tell herself “never give up”; she gave everything she had into life. Whatever she did she was always amazing. Lizzy looked forward to the future and her adult life. She was such a strong, beautiful woman inside and out.
She deserved the world.
We love you, our beautiful angel!
